I have not been nearly as good about posting here as I would like to be. Here’s why:
I don’t have anything new and interesting to say about freelance writing.
I can sit for hours, and not come up with any decent post ideas. It’s sad. I just don’t have that kind of creativity. And lately, my writing/networking/job hunting schedule has been all messed up. I am just starting to get out of a rather bad burnt out phase, and I’m finally getting back into the swing of things.
I still don’t have anything interesting to put here on a regular basis, though.
In the interest of bringing this blog back to life, however, I’ve been playing with a few ideas. My favorite one so far is to try “live blogging” a novel. I would post new additions to the novel here, as well as blog posts about the writing process. A complete all-access pass to what is going on behind the scenes. I’d still have freelance writing information, if I come across any ideas worth sharing; I don’t want to entirely turn my back on the original purpose of this site. New posts, regardless of their topic, will be posted on the front page. I’ll also have the posts broken up into three categories, accessible from the top of the site.
I’m not sure exactly how I’m going to work it yet.. There are a lot of details to work out.
Until then… I am working on giving the site a make-over and coming up with some ideas for a new story.
