Hello, Again

by Margo on April 17, 2012

Hello, there.

It’s been a while, yeah? Nearly 18 months. I got caught up in 2010′s NaNo, and that was it. Since then–

I finally got to write “The End” in a novel. Yeah! Not the one I was working on, though. A new one, with new characters. It still needs a ton of editing and rewriting, but it’s 75% done.

I had a baby. (She’s now a little over a year old. Two kids means half the writing time.)

I started looking over and fixing up some of my older, incomplete manuscripts.

I purchased and fell in love with Liquid Story Binder. (If you write longer fiction, I highly recommend it.)

I cut back on professional writing, due in part to having two kids to chase around, and because I am starting school in September.

I stockpiled writing technique books of all sorts. There’s this used book sale a couple times a year, and I now have a very complete writer’s bookshelf. I’m now slowly working through all of them.

I made the decision to get back to regular blogging, both here and on all of my other sites.

So, now that we’re all caught up, how have you been?

A New Project?

March 27, 2010

Loves Walks on the Beach, Hates Idiots

Dear Wanna-be Client, Okay, I get it. You are hiring a writer because you can’t write yourself. Or maybe you can’t find the time to achieve all of your writing goals on your own, and you need help. Maybe grammar isn’t you’re thing, or you don’t really know how to go about finding the right [...]

New Day Resolutions

January 4, 2010

I love making lists. I love making goals. And I don’t believe that resolutions should only be made once a year. I make them every day. New Day Resolutions are ways to improve your writing and business skills, one small step at a time. It’s a way to get back to all of the tasks [...]
