I love WAHM. I started going there when I was learning medical transcription (aka. soul killing wah) in 2006. I landed my first general transcription client there, who is now my ONLY transcription client and by far my favorite ever. I'm working on a proofreading gig through that client that is big news for me.

Robin definitely made a darn good point. I really don't "use" Twitter for "marketing" myself. I have a similar view with Twitter as I do with my blog. It's about socializing first, being a good person online and making friends that are into similar things, then it's about sharing what you do with them.

I'm sure there's a lot of people making gobs of money online right now who would snicker and shrug at my seeming naivety, but those are the people who spam on Twitter and just generally annoy the **** out of me. I don't want to be that person, ya know?
